North Dakota State Conference

Realistic training replicating the functions of a police department

Conference & Competition at Bonanzaville in West Fargo

This is the first of it’s kind conference for North Dakota and will be hosted at historic Bonanzaville in West Fargo, ND. This venue offers us a unique setting for our conference/competition. Essentially, we have our own small town of 40 buildings, streets and avenues, and 12 acres of land, all to ourselves in a secure fenced location. The conference is open to any agency with a law enforcement explorer post, public safety cadet unit, or similar youth program.

Registration is not available yet. Check back soon!

Realistic Training Event

This is an opportunity for students to compete with other units from around the region while putting their skills to the test.

As we strive for realistic training that replicates the functioning of a police department, this is a rain-or-shine event and all participants should therefore be prepared accordingly. In the event of severe weather, the training will be paused briefly until the immediate danger has passed.

Have Training Ideas?

Ideally, we would like to see each agency sponsor and have their advisors run a scenario for all explorers to rotate through. Please email us any ideas you have for training or if there is a specific topic you would be willing to sponsor and teach all the explorers while at camp or something you think would be interesting to have taught.
